So much for spring (supposedly, officially, September 1st).
We had a terrifically mild winter with nary a snowdrop and not a lot of hard frost freezes . . . until spring arrives, however; then, of course, we get a big snow dump.
And just when the almond, crabapple and early harvest apple trees are starting to burst into flower (goshdarnit!). I’m crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.
